J. Robert Oppenheimer, was the head of the team which invented the first nuclear bomb, under the project named "Manhattan Project". Robert Oppenheimer was a student of Vedanta and Hindu thought. He had educated himself on Sanskrit and is said to have studied Bhagavad Gita in the original.
