Anger gives rise to attachment and desire

Do not ever encourage anger. Anger gives rise to attachment and desire and this makes you lose sense of right and wrong. You lose your sense of judgement. From ancient times till today much havoc has been wrought through anger. Even the results of prayer and meditation are lost when one is angry.
